Dr. Marchelle Lee was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended the Cleveland Public School System.  She was raised by an abusive mother and a passive loving father. At the age of 16, she became pregnant and after giving birth, she left home at the age of 17 years old. It was the love of her father and eldest sister that helped her keep her sanity. However, It was the grace of God that prevented her from committing suicide. She managed to finish High School by earning her GED after she left home at the age of 17 as a teenage mom.

Dr. Marchelle was once homeless with her two sons in Chicago Illinois, where their only safe-haven was an abandoned office building on East 89th and South Halsted. There was even one point in her life where she turned to drugs and alcohol to try to find some source of comfort.  As a mother of two sons, she knew that she had to turn her life around, for the sake of her family.  She returned to Cleveland, Ohio and enrolled in Cuyahoga Community College and completed an Associate Degree of Science in nursing, and shortly afterward she submitted her life to Jesus Christ.

She relocated to the greater Houston, TX area on October 28, 2003, and has served bi-vocationally as a nurse and in ministry for 16 years.  She presently serves with James Chestnut and Associates Inc., AKA JCA (owned by James Chestnut III) as a Nonprofit Sales Consultant and tax preparer.  JCA provides services to pastors, churches, nonprofits, and entities who need business services.  Her personal ministry MDL Ministries focuses on prayer, evangelism, ministry training, operation manuals, speaking engagements, and weekly TV Broadcasting, assisting in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.  She serves in the Body of Christ; however, God allows. She literally believes, “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.” Ecclesiastes 9:10 NIV.

Her prison ministry work involves TDCJ facilities such as Darrington Unit, Pam Lynchner State Jail, and TC Jester State Prison and Re-entry housing facilities.

Dr. Marchelle Lee serves as an Evangelist and on the Executive Board of Women for Texas Southeast #1 Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction for the Church of God In Christ under the Leadership of Bishop Kurt & First Lady Kim Thompson in Houston, TX.
