Dr. Marchelle Lee was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended the Cleveland Public School System. She was raised by an abusive mother and a passive loving father. At 16, she became pregnant, gave birth, and left home. Her father's love and eldest sister helped her keep her sanity. However, it was the grace of God that prevented her from committing suicide. After leaving home, she finished John High School Adult Education by earning her GED at 17 as a teenage mom.

Dr. Marchelle was once homeless with her two sons in Chicago, Illinois, where their only haven was an abandoned office building on East 89th and South Halsted. There was even one point in her life when she turned to drugs and alcohol to find some source of comfort. As a mother of two sons, she knew that she had to turn her life around for the sake of her family. She returned to Cleveland, Ohio, enrolled in Cuyahoga Community College, and completed an Associate Degree of Science in Nursing; shortly afterward, she submitted her life to Jesus Christ.

After two abusive marriages, she relocated to the Greater Houston, TX area on October 28, 2003, and has served bi-vocationally as a nurse and in ministry for 16 years. She serves as a Nonprofit Sales Consultant with James Chestnut and Associates Inc., a.k.a JCA (owned by James Chestnut III). JCA provides services to pastors, churches, nonprofits, and entities that need business services. Her previous work in prison ministry involved Texas Department of Criminal Justice facilities such as Darrington Prison,  Pam Lynchner, TC Jester State Prison, and Re-entry housing facilities. Her ministry MDL Ministries, focuses on prayer, evangelism, ministry training, public speaking, and weekly TV Broadcasting, all of which assist in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.  She believes, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might." Ecclesiastes 9:10 NIV.

In 2012 God spoke to Dr. Marchelle and said that He would send her to San Antonio and that he wanted her to serve at Community Bible Church. In July 2020, He did just that, and she relocated to San Antonio.  She now serves in the online church ministry at Community Bible Church in San Antonio,  under the leadership of Senior Pastor Ed Newton.

Dr. Marchelle joins Drs. Russel and Leona Russell in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in building Kingdom Leaders wherever God opens the doors. She is a Liaison for the Lord’s Outreach School of Theology.
