🔬 How Wireless Charging Works: Core Technologies
Wireless charging is the transfer of electrical energy from a power source to an electrical load without the use of physical wires or contacts. It is primarily based on the principles of electromagnetism.
While commonly associated with smartphones, the technology has deep roots and is rapidly expanding into vehicles, medical devices, and industrial automation.
Receiver Coil (in the device): When the device's coil is placed in very close proximity (typically less than 20 mm) and properly aligned with the transmitter coil, the changing magnetic field induces an alternating current in the receiver coil (Faraday's Law).
